Week 4: Injuries to monitor for all 32 teams

A lot of what I do is simply monitoring injuries. It’s very depressing. Anyway, here is what is going on with each team. Keep in mind I’m only tracking players that I think are impactful.

Arizona Cardinals:
-TE Jermaine Gresham was inactive in week 1 and week 2 (Achilles). He played 17/50 snaps in week 3.

Atlanta Falcons:
-WR Julio Jones (calf) will play week 4.
-LB Deion Jones (foot) was placed on IR.
-S Keanu Neal tore his ACL in the opener.
-S Ricardo Allen tore his Achilles and was placed on season ending IR.
-RB Devonta Freeman (knee) did not practice and was INACTIVE for weeks 2 and 3. He is OUT week 4.
-G Andy Levitre aggravated his existing elbow injury during his week 2 game and did not return. He is heading to IR.

Baltimore Ravens:
-RB Kenneth Dixon has been placed on IR after injuring his knee week 1.
-TE Hayden Hurst was inactive the first 3 weeks of the season (foot). He has been cleared to practice. He is QUESTIONABLE week 4.
-CB Jimmy Smith is still suspended (4 games).
-LB C.J. Mosley  suffered a bone bruise in his knee during TNF week 2. He was back practicing Thursday (9/20), but was INACTIVE week 3.
-OLD Terrell Suggs (knee) is QUESTIONABLE for week 4.

Buffalo Bills:
-DE Shaq Lawson pulled his hamstring in week 1 and was INACTIVE week 2. He is OUT week 3.
-RB Shady McCoy hurt his ribs in the week 2 game against the Chargers. He was limited in practice leading up to week 3. It sounded like he was a legit 50/50, but ended up being INACTIVE. He was limited in practice Wednesday (9/26).

Carolina Panthers:
-TE Greg Olsen re-injured his foot last game. He’s considered “month to month.”
-LB Thomas Davis is still SUSPENDED (first four games).
-OT Daryl Williams (knee) has been placed on IR.
-OG Trai Turner has a concussion and was INACTIVE weeks 2 and 3.
-Acquired OT Marshall Newhouse from the Bills. He has barely played this year.

Chicago Bears:
-WR  Anthony Miller left his week 3 game with a dislocated his shoulder. He is OUT week 4.

Cincinnati Bengals:
-WR AJ Green injured his groin during his week 3 game, but expects to play week 4. He was limited in practice Wednesday (9/26), but the Bengals seem optimistic. He was removed from the injury report Friday (9/28). He will play.
-RB Joe Mixon was hurt in week 2 (knee) on TNF and will be out 2-4 weeks. Profootballdoc is optimistic it will only be a week or two. He did not practice Wednesday (9/26). He is OUT week 4.
-RB Geo Bernard (thigh) was limited in practice Wednesday (9/26). He was removed from the injury report Friday (9/28) and will play.
-OL Billy Price is expected to be out two weeks with a foot issue (posted 9/20). He was INACTIVE week 3.
-DE Michael Jordan is expected to miss several weeks (knee). He was INACTIVE week 3.
-LB Vontaze Burfict is still suspended the first four games (would it be easier to tell you when he isn’t suspended?)

Cleveland Browns:
-QB Tyrod Taylor (head) left TNF week 3 and did not return. The Browns confirmed Baker Mayfield will start week 4.
-DE Emmanuel Ogbah (ankle) is expected to play Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys:
-C Travis Frederick was INACTIVE weeks 1, 2, and 3.
-S Xavier Woods was INACTIVE weeks 1 and 2 (hamstring), but played almost every snap week 3.
-DE Randy Gregory left week 1 with a concussion and was inactive week 2. He played 27 snaps week 3.
-LB Sean Lee re-injured his hamstring and had to leave his week 3 game. He is expected to miss multiple weeks. He did not practice Wednesday (9/26).

Denver Broncos:
-CB Tramaine Brock injured his groin during his week 3 game and is expected to miss some time.

Detroit Lions:
-DE Ziggy Ansah (shoulder) was INACTIVE week 3 and has been ruled OUT week 4.
-LB Jarrad Davis (knee) is QUESTIONABLE for week 4.
-WR Golden Tate (hip) is QUESTIONABLE for week 4.

Green Bay Packers:
-QB Aaron Rodgers is still dealing with a knee injury from week 1, but should keep playing through it. He seemed to hurt his right hamstring during the game as well. He did not practice Wednesday (9/26)  and was limited Thursday (9/27) and Friday (9/28). He will play.
-CB Kevin King injured his groin during his week 2 game and did not return. He was INACTIVE week 3. He did not practice Wednesday (9/26) and was limited Thursday (9/27) and Friday (9/28). He is QUESTIONABLE.
-CB Davon House (shoulder) has been placed on IR.
-DT Muhammad Wilkerson suffered an ankle injury during week 3 and is on IR.
-RT Bryan Bulaga injured his back in his week 3 game and did not return. He was limited in practice all week, but was then removed from the injury report. He will play.
-TE Jimmy Graham (knee) did not practice Wednesday (9/26), but was taken off the injury report Friday (9/28). He will play.
-WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) is officially QUESTIONABLE for week 4. He was limited in practice Thursday (9/27) and Friday (9/28). I’d guess he will play.
-RG Justin McCray (shoulder) is DOUBTFUL week 4. He did not practice all week.

Houston Texans:
-WR DeAndre Hopkins (thumb/ankle/hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday (9/26). He is questionable for week 4.
-WR Will Fuller (hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday (9/26). Since he’s been playing, he will play week 4.
-RT Seantrel Henderson left his week 1 game with an ankle injury and has been placed on IR.
-CB Kevin Johnson suffered a concussion during last weeks game. He has since been placed on IR.
-WR Bruce Ellington left his week 3 game with a hamstring injury. He has been placed on IR.
-G Senio Kelemete injured his groin during warm ups before his week 3 game and did not play.
-CB Aaron Colvin hurt his chest during his week 3 game, but was able to return.

Indianapolis Colts:
-RB Marlon Mack (hamstring) did not practice leading up to week 2 and was INACTIVE. He was limited in practice all week leading up to week 4 and is QUESTIONABLE.
-LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) was INACTIVE  week 1, 2, and 3. He did not practice Wednesday (9/26).
-TE Jack Doyle (hip) did not practice leading up to week 3 and was INACTIVE. He did not practice Wednesday (9/26). He is OUT week 4.
-TE Eric Ebron (shoulder/knee) did not practice Wednesday (9/26). He was taken off the injury report Friday (9/28). He will play.
-CB Quincy Wilson (concussion) is OUT for week 3.
-DT Denico Autry (groin) is OUT for week 3.
-RT Joe Haeg injured his ankle during his week 3 game. He attempted to return, but then was ruled out the rest of the game. He has been placed on IR.

Jacksonville Jaguars:
-RB Leonard Fournette left his week 1 game with a hamstring injury and was INACTIVE week 2 and 3. He was limited in practice this week and is a true QUESTIONABLE.
-RB TJ Yeldon (ankle) did not practice Wednesday (9/26).
-OT Cam Robinson tore his ACL in the Jags week 2 game vs New England.  Josh Wells will likely fill in for Robinson moving forward.
-RG A.J. Cann (triceps) was INACTIVE week 3.
-CB D.J. Hayden (toe) was INACTIVE week 3.
-DE Calais Campbell played week 3 through a knee issue, and then injured his ankle week 3. The ankle issue shouldn’t be serious, but we’ll have to monitor.

Kansas City Chiefs:
-S Eric Berry was inactive for week 1. He’s still recovering from an Achilles injury he suffered week 1 of last year. He was INACTIVE weeks 1, 2, and 3. He did not practice leading up to week 3.
-DE Dee Ford had a groin strain during week 3.  He is scheduled for an MRI on Friday.

Los Angeles Chargers:
-DE Joey Bosa was INACTIVE weeks 1, 2, and 3 with a foot injury. He is out “indefinitely.” The latest (9/26) is he will be out at least 8 weeks.
-RT Joe Barksdale suffered a knee injury lasts week and did not return. He was INACTIVE weeks 2 and 3 and is OUT week 4.
-DT Corey Liuget is SUSPENDED for the first four games of the season.
-WR Keenan Allen (knee) did not practice Wednesday (9/26) and Thursday (9/27). He returned to practice Friday (9/28). He is officially QUESTIONABLE, but will play.

Los Angeles Rams:
-LB Mark Barron was INACTIVE weeks 1, 2, and 3.
-K Greg “the Leg” Zuerlein had to leave the week 2 game with a groin injury. He is out for now.
-CB Aqib Talib suffered a high ankle sprain during week 3 and was then placed on IR. He should be back in Decemberish.
-CB Marcus Peters suffered a calf strain during week 3. He was surprisingly active in week 4 TNF.

Miami Dolphins:
-LG Josh Sitton (shoulder) is done for the season.
-DE William Hayes suffered a knee injury during his week 3 game and is on IR.
-FS Reshad Jones (shoulder) is QUESTIONABLE, expected to play.
-DaVante Parker (quad) is QUESTIONABLE week 4. He practiced in full Wednesday (9/26) and Thursday (9/27) before being limited Friday (9/28).

Minnesota Vikings:
-RB Dalvin Cook injured his hamstring week 2 and did not return. He was OUT week 3 and played on a limited basis for week 4.
-DE Everson Griffen (knee) is OUT week 3 and week 4 while he works through some personal issues.
-CB Trae Waynes injured his ankle during his week 3 game and did not return.

New England Patriots:
-RB Jeremy Hill tore his ACL last week and is out for the season.
-RB Rex Burkhead hurt his neck during his week 3 game and did not return. He was dealing with concussion issues earlier in the year. He has been placed on IR.
-WR Julian Edelman is SUSPENDED first four games.
-DE Trey Flowers suffered a concussion during his week 2 game, did not practice all week and was INACTIVE week 3. He was limited in practice (9/26) but thinks he will play Sunday.
-S Patrick Chung suffered a concussion during his week 2 game, did not practice all week and was INACTIVE week 3. He was limited in practice Wednesday (9/26).
-WR Josh Gordon (hamstring) is limited in practice Wednesday (9/19) and Thursday (9/20). He was INACTIVE week 3. He was limited in practice Wednesday (9/26).
-CB Eric Rowe was INACTIVE week 3 and was limited in practice Wednesday (9/26).
-LB Ja’Whaun Bentle was placed on IR.

New Orleans Saints:
-RB Alvin Kamara (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday (9/26). He will play week 4.
-RB Mark Ingram is still SUSPENDED for four games.
-CB Patrick Robinson injured his ankle during his week 3 game and will be on IR.

New York Giants:
-DE Olivier Vernon was INACTIVE weeks 1, 2, and 3 with an ankle injury. He was limited in practice Wednesday (9/26). He is OUT week 4.
-C Jon Halapio fractured his fibula and ankle against the Cowboys in week 2. He has been placed on IR.
-CB Eli Apple injured his groin in the week 2 game against the Cowboys. He did not practice Wednesday (9/19) and Thursday (9/20). He was INACTIVE week 3 and is OUT week 4.
-TE Evan Engram sprained his MCL during his week 3 game. The Giants called up TE Garrett Dickerson from the practice squad. Engram will be out 2-4 weeks.

New York Jets – healthy

Oakland Raiders:
-DI Justin Ellis was added to IR (foot).
-OT Donald Penn left his week 3 game with a concussion.
-S Karl Joseph left his week 3 game with a leg injury.
-K Mike Nugent went on IR.
-CB Dominque Rogers-Cromartie is QUESTIONABLE week 4.

Philadelphia Eagles:
-WR Alshon Jeffery has been inactive weeks 1, 2, and 3. He was limited in practice leading up to week 3. He practiced in full Wednesday (9/26), but then did not practice Thursday (9/27). He is QUESTIONABLE.
-RB Darren Sproles (hamstring) was inactive weeks 2 and 3, and did not practice leading up to week 3. He did not practice Wednesday (9/26).
-RB Jay Ajayi (back) was INACTIVE week 3 and did not practice leading up to the game. He did not practice Wednesday (9/26).
-WR Mike Wallace suffered a lower leg fracture during the week 2 game and has been placed on IR.
-S Rodney McLeod left his week 3 game with a knee injury.

Pittsburgh Steelers:
-RB Le’Veon Bell remains absent with a case of the bad agent.
-G David DeCastro (hand) was INACTIVE weeks 2 and 3.
-WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (abdomen) did not practice Wednesday (9/26). He was taken off the injury report Friday (9/28). He will play.
-CB Mike Hilton (elbow) is DOUBTFUL week 4.

San Francisco 49ers:
-QB Jimmy Garoppolo tore his ACL. He’s out for the season.
-G Joshua Garnett (toe) was INACTIVE week 3.
-SS Jaquiski Tartt (shoulder) left his week 2 game and was INACTIVE week 3.
-RB Matt Breida hyper-extended his knee during his week 3 game. He did not practice Wednesday (9/26). He is QUESTIONABLE for week 4.

Seattle Seahawks:
-WR Doug Baldwin suffered a MCL sprain during week 1 and was INACTIVE weeks 2 and 3. He returned to practice Wednesday (9/26). He will play week 4.
-LB KJ Wright (knee) is INACTIVE for weeks 2 and 3 and has been ruled OUT week 4.
-RB Chris Carson (hip) is QUESTIONABLE for week 4.

Tamap Bay Buccaneers:
-QB Jameis Winston is no longer suspended, but we do not know who will play week 4. Ryan Fitzpatrick took the majority of snaps on Wednesday (9/26).
-CB Vernon Hargreaves was placed on season ending IR (shoulder).
-S Chris Conte (knee) has been placed on IR.

Tennessee Titans:
-TE Delanie Walker was placed on IR with a dislocated ankle (I don’t get how that’s possible. Best of luck, Delanie).
-QB Marcus Mariota (elbow) was taken out of week 1. He was ACTIVE week 2, but did not play. He was also ACTIVE week 3, but did not start. He did play after Blaine Gabbert suffered a concussion. He will play week 4, but profootball doc says “He will not be 100% for a while.
-RT Jack Conklin (knee) was INACTIVE weeks 2 and 3. He was a true questionable leading up to week 3, giving him a chance to return week 4.
-CB Adoree’ Jackson suffered a shoulder injury during his week 2 game. He was ACTIVE week 3, but left the game after suffering a concussion.
-K Ryan Succop (knee) did not practice Wednesday (9/26).

Washington Redskins:
-LG Shawn Lauvao (calf) is OUT week 3.
-RB Rob Kelley has been placed on IR
-OT Morgan Moses left week 3 game with a concussion.
