Fucking COVID-19. I know, you're sick of hearing about it. The "19" represents the year COVID came into our lives, and here we are still talking about it, just a few weeks away from celebrating the start of 2022.
Unfortunately, two teams that we bet on have had severe COVID outbreaks, Cleveland and Los Angeles. As a result the games have been moved -- LV @ CLE was Saturday and will now be played Monday. SEA @ LAR was originally Sunday, but now will be played Tuesday.
If the event that you already bet the games, things will be handled differently depending on your book. There's a chance the wager will be cancelled, however, most books leave the bets active as long as they're played within 7 days. For record keeping, we'll keep both games as recommendations, however, if you did not bet them yet, I'd strongly recommend laying off. These type of adjustments are outside of the functionality of the model, and I honestly trust the market to factor this in better than my dumb brain. There's plenty of other action out there, and we'll have prop recommendations for each game anyway.
